I have had the privilege of helping many individuals, families, and small businesses with tax preparation, accounting, bill payment and financial planning with clarity and confidence for many years. As the Founder of the CPA firm, my work isn’t just about numbers—it’s about the people I get to work with. I am passionate about building lasting relationships and helping clients make smart, informed decisions that bring them peace of mind.
I earned my BA in Accounting from MidAmerica Nazarene University and my MBA from the University of Kansas. Over my career I was CEO for large orthopedic & ophthalmology medical practices, and the last five years Chief Financial Officer for Assured Trust Company. I was on the Board of Directors and held leadership roles in many local, state and national organizations and associations.
These experiences have given me a broad perspective on financial leadership, strategic planning, accounting and a deep appreciation for the trust clients and employees have placed in me. Whether I’m helping a client through a complex tax issue or mentoring a young professional, my goal is the same: to serve with integrity, compassion, and excellence.
In my free time I referee at local soccer fields, road cycling, running, golfing and any other sport. Sports highlights include racing the Muncie Half Ironman, Kansas City Marathon, Disney’s Goofy Marathon and the American Diabetes Association Century Ride. Vacationing with friends and family is a yearly highlight. Spending family time doing jigsaw puzzles or binge watching the latest murder mystery with Michelle and the latest foster dog from KC Pet Project and our 2 cats Buster and George.
